"Now that I’m in the clear, medically, and just dealing with the lingering (and lingering) symptoms, I look back at the start of this saga and the thing I am most grateful for, in retrospect, is that I put myself into full self-isolation in my bedroom at the start of my very first symptom of COVID-19 (I woke up with a 102 fever, there was nothing subtle about it).
