An 11-year-old boy was killed and five others — including children — were hurt in a shooting in Cincinnati, according to police.
Police received reports of the gunfire in the suburb of West End just before 9:30 p.m. Friday, and found six people with varying degrees of injuries.
The 11-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene, Cincinnati police chief Terri Theetge said, according to local reports.
The ages and identities of those injured have not been released.
Three victims were taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, police said.

Florida parents are calling for the arrest of a local pastor who allegedly whipped their fourth-graders with a belt at a private religious school.
The furious moms and dads claim man-of-the-cloth Terence Gray entered the classroom where their 9- and 10-year-olds were at St. Mark’s AME Church’s Alpha Learning Academy in Orlando on Thursday afternoon demanding to know which students were misbehaving.

A man in Ohio sat about “20 feet off the ground” in a vehicle he allegedly tried to steal from a wrecking yard while waiting for police to arrive to arrest him.
Bodycam footage from Akron police shows the SUV still hanging in the air before it was gently lifted down, so officers could apprehend the suspect.
“What’s your name, man?” one of the officers could be heard asking.

The mutilated body of a missing woman was found in a car parked at a Boston airport garage Wednesday after her boyfriend allegedly killed her and hopped on a plane to Kenya.
