The chief constable of West Midlands Police has committed to making youth violence his top priority on the day the family of murdered teenager Dea-John Reid buried their child.
Ahead of his funeral on Wednesday, the family of the 14-year-old said "nothing makes sense" and urged young people to stop carrying knives.
