A group of asylum seekers staying in a hotel in Reading have gone on hunger strike in protest at poor food and lengthy asylum claims.
Some of the men and women say they have been in their rooms for over eight months, and they claim the food provided is unhealthy - even leading to some individuals becoming ill.
The Home Office refused to comment and directed Sky News to a statement provided by one of the companies involved, Clearsprings Ready Homes, which said the food supplied is reviewed regularly to ensure it "meets the required standards".

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has told Sophy Ridge COVID-19 restrictions will not be 'arbitrarily' lifted.
The lockdown-sceptic Covid Recovery Group, which is made up of backbench Tory MPs, is calling for all restrictions to be lifted once the nine priority groups have been vaccinated.
Boris Johnson said on Saturday he plans a "cautious" reopening and today Mr Raab said the government would only lift the restrictions once the evidence suggested it was safe enough.

Donald Trump has been found not guilty in his impeachment trial.
The former US President has been acquitted of inciting a mob of his supporters to attack the US Capitol.
The final vote came in as 57 'guilty' and 43 'not guilty' which meant the Democrats did not reach the two-thirds majority they needed to secure a conviction.
Donald Trump was defiant after the acquittal and released a statement saying 'he had much to share' over coming months.

In Nottingham they are already a step ahead, as work is in progress on a COVID jab with a 'double punch' against variants which are likely to reduce the effectiveness of existing vaccines.
