To all the award shows I’ve loved before, sorry because the MTV Movie and TV Awards are my new favorite!
What’s up guys? It’s Drew Dorsey here with Clevver News and the MTV Movie and TV Awards just aired, but they may as well have been called the Noah Centineo awards because he swept every category, he was nominated in.
And I am so here for it.
For those of you who think award season is just during the Grammys and Oscars, think again because the MTV Movie and TV Awards give our favorites the respect they deserve.
Like Noah who won for both Best Breakthrough Performance and Best Kiss with Lana Condor.
His performance in To All The Boys I Loved Before stole all of our hearts and the fans showed up to vote for him.
And can I just say boy did he look fiiiiine on the red carpet. He may have been casual in the black t-shirt and jeans, but we couldn’t help but notice that he has definitely bulked up, no days off for Peter Kavinsky.
Ok back to the awards, sorry I couldn’t focus until I talked about how much of a heart throb he is.
Noah’s Best Breakthrough Performance award was totally deserving because not only did he steal our hearts in “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,” but he also starred in”Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.”
So basically, this past year was his year. Breakthrough is an understatement.
And as for his win with Lana, I mean, this is huge for both of them.
The Best Kiss Award is always the most highly-anticipated and iconic award of the night with past winners like Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams for The Notebook and Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley for The Fault in Our Stars.
So these two are in really great company.
And their speech was so sweet and thankful.
But Noah made sure to spice it up by saying quote, “Thanks to Lana’s lips”
And is it just me or did Lana get a little awkward?
And is it also just me or did it look like he was going in for the kiss multiple times, but she went in for the hug?
He even called out his family who was cheering in the audience.
And fans loved it.
One person said quote, “OMG CONGRATULATIONS TO @lanacondor and @noahcent THEY DESERVE THIS SOOOO MUCH #MTVAwards”
And another said quote, “Ok I’m watching the mtv tv and movie awards (lol) and Lana condor and Noah Centineo won best kiss and the chemistry between the two of them was PALPABLE
I think Noah tried kissing Lana ,??? My lord it was a lot to take”
Sadly, we didn’t get an on stage kiss from Noah and Lana like we all hoped, but we will likely be seeing plenty more of them kissing in To All the Boys 2 next year.
