Northern Ireland : Government to end all Troubles prosecutions

The Government hopes to draw a line today under historical crimes committed during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

A de facto amnesty will be granted to former British soldiers, and former paramilitaries, which will end decades-long prosecutions.

But for many of the families of victims, on all sides, it will do nothing more than fuel anger still felt all these years later.
