The Prime Minister Boris Johnson batted away questions when asked about the refurbishment of his Downing Street flat, saying he followed ministerial guidance “at all times”.
He also spoke about the spread of the Omicron variant of coronavirus. He said the government was maintaining it’s voluntary approach to vaccination, but urged people to take up the jab, despite the “tragedy” of anti-vax campaigners who are “spouting complete nonsense about vaccination”.
