The UK has celebrated the 73rd anniversary of the establishment of the National Health Services with Prince William captaining the tributes.
The Duke of Cambridge was among many who heard inspiring stories from healthcare heroes, at a ceremony in St Paul’s Cathedral, but his wife was unable to attend as she was self-isolating.
The service of thanksgiving comes after the most difficult months in the history of the NHS.
