The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards got off to a great start for some… host, Zachary Levi, and a not so great start…. Ray J we are looking at you!
What’s up y’all it’s Sinead Devries with Clevver News and I have to say I am a fan of some good ole fashioned shade and Zachary Levi came out swinging for audience members during his opening monologue!
And while we haven’t ever really talked about Ray-J… we have to talk about the major shade that Zachary threw Ray-J’s way!
For those of you that need a refresher on this Ray-J character… he and Kim Kardashian once were happily together, on tropical vacations… making… ehem home movies!
IF you know… you know!
Anyways… both Kim and Ray J have come a long way since those infamous tapes… BUT that doesn’t mean Ray J will ever live it down!
During his opening monologue Zachary Levi made a savage joke about Ray-J’s camera-man skills!
And Twitter was nothing short than GOLDEN responses!
This person tweeted: “Lmaooo he said we know Ray J as a cameraman!”
So many people appreciated the playful shade tweeting: “OMG that Ray J cameraman joke… gold!
AND another said: “Ray J’s energy changed SO FAST with that one!”
Speaking of… Ray J’s wife Princess Love was NOT having that joke. She gave the cameras a good ole’ flip of the middle fingers!
Alright you guys… clearly we know how Ray J and Princess Love feel about that joke… but now I want to know what you guys think about Zachary Levi’s harsh BUT playful shade at Ray J. Was it in good taste or bringing up bad memories?
