Russia: Hundreds of pro-Navalny protesters arrested

UN Human rights experts have warned that the life of imprisoned Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is in danger and he should be allowed to leave the country.

Meanwhile hundreds of people have been arrested across the country at demonstrations in support of the Mr Navalny.

But President Vladamir Putin used his annual address to the nation to say that Moscow would respond ‘harshly’ to any foreign interference in its affairs.
