Sadiq Khan: 2020 ‘worst year for London since WWII’

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has told Sophy Ridge that he does support further coronavirus restrictions, explaining that six out of ten Londoners have the new strain. However, he said the government gave the nation ‘false hope’ about the pandemic.

The mayor believes that 2020 has been the worst year for businesses in the capital since WWII and criticised the government’s handling of the pandemic.
