If you watch Modern Family, you’ve seen little Haley Dunphy grow up into a beautiful young woman, and now that woman is getting married.
What’s up guys it’s Sussan Mourad with Clevver News. Sarah Hyland and her new fiancé Wells Adams both posted announcements on their Instagram accounts last night that they are now officially engaged.
The couple met after Wells, a former contestant turned bartender on The Bachelor, slid into Sarah’s DMs way back in 2017.
He asked her out for tacos and the happy couple have been together ever since.
Sarah was first to break the news of the engagement on her Instagram with this post, along with the caption “That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff” – which, if you didn’t know, is a quote from the 1995 movie “It Takes Two” starring Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen
Not to be outdone, Wells quickly posted this footage of him getting down on one knee for Sarah
To which she replied “When we get married will I automatically acquire your talent for making everyone cry with a homemade video?”
And “I love you to the moon and back Fiance”
And Sarah wasn’t the only one to leave a cute comment. A ton of their famous friends like Richard Madden, Joey King, Debby Ryan, and Nick and Kevin Jonas left their well wishes.
Julie Bowen, who plays Sarah’s mom on Modern Family, said “I’m dying … huzzah! Couldn’t be happier if you were my own flesh and blood.”
And Chris Harrison, host of the Bachelor, said “Congrats brother. Took You long enough.
Not surprised to hear if this beautiful proposal was a long time in the making
Especially since it included a damn drone
I mean, definitely one of the cutest engagement videos I’ve ever seen, right?
