Seagrass seeds planted to tackle climate change

How seagrass is the seed of plans to tackle climate change

16,000 bags of seagrass seeds are being planted off the coast of Plymouth to help create an underwater meadow.

Scientists say seagrass can capture and store carbon faster than forests on land, but 92% of the UK’s seagrass has been lost.

It’s part of a four year project to revitalise marine life and help tackle climate change.
