It is Friday and a FREAKY FRIDAY to say the least! All this drama unfolding with Taylor Swift and Big Machine Records has got the internet abuzz and even more celebrities sounding off!What’s up everyone it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and I’ll tell you what, I am ready for a nap after what has gone down in less than 24 hours between Taylor Swift and Big Machine Records!It’s a classic case of ‘he said, she said’ but on like a REALLY MASSIVE SCALE! Pretty much to recap, Taylor Swift popped off on her IG stories Thursday saying Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun are BLOCKING her from performing her old hits at the AMAs on Sunday, November 24th!Okay, so this alone would throw a MASSIVE wrench into the AMAs. I mean Taylor is winning Artist of the Decade. That’s 10 years of music and she can’t perform ANY of it… absolutely INSANE! As obvious as it is, Taylor Swift is UNWELL by all of this as are all her fans, and that includes celebrity fans! This whole ordeal has caused others to speak out. Overwhelmingly, they’re in support of our girl, Taylor. Another one of Taylor’s girl squad members who spoke out was Gigi Hadid! She supported Tay on Twitter writing, “Scott and Scooter, you know what the right thing to do is. Taylor and her fans deserve to celebrate the music!!
Camila Cabello opened for Taylor Swift in 2018 during the Reputation Tour. She is speaking out to defend Taylor as well! She started off by reminiscing about the tour and working with Taylor. Now this is where Camila really popped off, go ahead sis!
“How can a record label do this to an artist? I can’t imagine my life without the moments where I listen to Taylor’s music and it brings me back to being a 13 year old hopeless romantic in my bedroom and I remember who I wanna be and how I wanna feel. I can’t imagine how painful this must be for you Taylor Swift, I can’t even wrap my head around how this could happen.She then moved over to Instagram to continue defending Taylor writing, “This is punishment. This is hoping to silence her from speaking about things by dangling this over her heard. These people are protected because they inspire complicity with fear…You’re barking up the wrong tree. It is her grace and patience in these moments that make her the Artist of the Decade.”Fans even went as far as to drag Ed Sheeran into the drama by questioning his loyalty to Taylor. He pretty much told them to pack salt and said, “I have been speaking directly to her, like I always do.” It’s been a wild 24 hours and I can only imagine it’s going to get crazier as we approach the AMAs in a little over a week!
