Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello can’t hide their love from us! Even under weird masks… Yea you heard me right.
What’s up y’all? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. back here with Clevver News and as if the saga of Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s relationship couldn’t get any weirder, they were just spotted out wearing bizarre masks.
Like I get it, Halloween is coming up, but we aren’t even in October yet. Calm down guys.
Yesterday, the couple surprised the paparazzi by wearing these masks as they walked out of Aahs in West Hollywood.
And if you don’t know what Aahs is, it’s a popular costume, gift, party supply store here in LA. Maybe they were shopping for some couples costumes for Halloween! Hopefully they get some cute couples pics up on each others Instagrams finally. Anyway, that’s definitely not what we got yesterday thought.
Shawn rocked the creepy baby mask while Camila opted for the unicorn.And fans obviously have a lot to say about this on Twitter.
And I’d like to say I’m surprised by this weird moment, but I’m definitely not. These two have been handling their relationship in a somewhat strange way. They go all in on PDA when they’re out and about, like we saw them making out in various bodies of water… but then don’t kiss at the VMA’s when everyone was expecting it.
But the weirdest part of the whole thing was when Shawn went ahead and posted the fishy kiss video of them on his Instagram.
You know this one that we can never unsee.
But just yesterday, on the same day as the mask weirdness, Camila spoke about her relationship and that infamous kissing video for the first time.She talked to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on 102.7 KIIS FM about their public relationship.
So yeah, it’s safe to say I was not shocked by the masks. These two are just trolling us all at this point. And apparently that’s a thing now.
Earlier this summer during their midst breakup rumors, Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse completely trolled the media.
The co-stars were together for almost two years before the break up rumors started, but there were a few instances during Comic Con that made fans question if they were still together.
But as the news of their maybe-breakup made headlines, Lili and Cole both took to Instagram to troll everyone.
They weren’t wearing masks, but the claws certainly came out.
Lili posted their W Magazine cover and savagely wrote quote, “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know sh*t.”
And Cole posted at the same time and said quote, “UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult.”
I am still not 100% sure what a bacchanalian sex cult is and I honestly don’t think I want to know.
But the W Mag article that they both posted about didn’t exactly clear anything up.
It came out during the height of their break up rumors and Cole said quote, “Lili is an incredibly talented individual who speaks for herself and deserves her own voice box in every single way. That alone is justification enough for me to do it like this. I don’t think we’re weaving two different narratives here.”
Since their relationship has been completely cleared up by Lili referring to Cole as her boyfriend and by Cole sharing these sweet pics of them kissing on Lili’s birthday.
And as for Shawn and Camila, it seems like the trolling is all in good fun, where as with Cole and Lili… if you ask me they seemed legit mad.
Which makes total sense. I just now have to have nightmares about seeing Shawn Mendes with a creepy baby mask on for the rest of my life, thanks for that.
