Auckland, New Zealand — Authorities report that a strong earthquake struck a rural area of Papua New Guinea early on Sunday morning has killed at least three people. The magnitude 7.6 earthquake that shook the Pacific nation also left other people hurt and infrastructure damaged. Photos showed road splits that have sprung and debris spread across streets, although the amount of damage still seems to be unknown.
