Why There Are No Bridges Over the Amazon River
http://youtu.be/-YGb3P0fAp4
Ever noticed that there are no bridges over the massive Amazon River? It’s not because no one thought of it—it’s just super difficult to build one! The river is incredibly wide and constantly changing, with strong currents and shifting sediments that make construction a nightmare. Plus, most cities and towns are built along the edges, so there’s not much demand for a bridge in the middle. Instead, people rely on boats and ferries to get across, which makes more sense in the dense jungle. So, for now, the Amazon stays wild and bridge-free! 🏞️✨
