Takeoff’s killer still on loose, police ask public for help with leads | New York Post

Houston police said they don’t believe that rapper Takeoff was involved in anything criminal when he was fatally shot at a bowling alley early Tuesday.

Officials are now asking for the public’s help to identify the person who killed Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball.

Takeoff, best known as a member of the Atlanta-based group Migos, was fatally shot during an argument outside of 810 Billiards & Bowling after a private party at about 2:40 a.m., authorities said at a news conference.

Takeoff was one third of the Grammy-nominated group alongside Quavo and Offset. Quavo, who is Takeoff’s uncle, was also at the party when the shooting broke out but wasn’t injured.
