The Streamy Awards are coming up tomorrow night and we are excited for the entire show but our eyes are most on that coveted Creator of the Year category because this year’s nominations are stacked!

What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and today is a HUGE day.

It’s Friday the 13th, Taylor Swift’s 30th birthday, AND the 9th annual Streamy Awards all in one day. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

I can’t exactly help you the Friday the 13th, just don’t step on any cracks or break any mirrors.

But we are looking at the Streamys nominees and trying to figure out who is going to win one of the biggest awards of the night, Creator of the Year.

Anyway, the nominees in that category are EXTREMELY impressive. You ready for them? Here they are in alphabetical order.

Collins Key, David Dobrik, Emma Chamberlain, Lilly Singh, Loren Gray, MrBeast, Ninja, Safiya Nygaard, Simply Nailogical, and Tana Mongeau.

Whew chile, I told you that list was stacked.

David, Emma, Ninja, and Safiya were all also nominated in the same category last year.

But some of last year’s nominees didn’t make this year’s list like Shane Dawson, who won, The Dolan Twins, and Liza Koshy.

But with so many of our favorite creators being nominated this year, I don’t know who’s going to win!

Let’s break a few of these down, starting with Emma Chamberlain, who has undoubtedly had an incredible year.

She’s gone from making relatable hilarious YouTube videos to partnering with brands like Louis Vitton and Calvin Klein all in one year.

Well, she still makes the relatable YouTube content, hence why we love her and hence why she’s on this list.

I definitely think she has a good chance of winning since this award is fan voted and Emma’s fans love her and continue to support her as her career evolves.

Next, we have to talk about David Dobrik who also had a very impressive 2019.

He hosted his first award show the Teen Choice Awards alongside Lucy Hale.

He got married and divorced to Jason Nash’s mom. Which made for great content.

And he’s reached almost 15 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. His vlogs are still as funny as ever and he’s still uploading multiple times a week.

And clearly he’s had plenty of financial success this year, he’s bought his friends enough cars to prove it.

We stan David and can TOTALLY see him being the Creator of the Year for 2019.

But we’ve also gotta talk about the year that Lilly Singh has had.

She’s also nominated in this category and has taken her YouTube creator skills to the mainstream with her own late night NBC talk show.

Which seems like every YouTubers dream come true.

Everyone knows Lilly is the host but not everyone knows that she is also the executive producer of her show “A Little Late with Lilly Singh.”

We see you BOSS.

But I want to know what you guys think.

I still can’t decide who I think is going to win. My gut is telling me it might be David or Emma but I don’t know!

Who do you think is going to win Creator of the Year? Were any of your favorites missing from the nominees list? And will you be tuning in live to watch the Streamys?
