Just when you thought you couldn’t possibly be more obsessed with Taylor Swift’s You Need To Calm Down music video, it just keeps getting better.
Taylor just shared some behind the scenes moments from the Pop Queen Pageant with the drag queens and it’s everything you didn’t know you needed to brighten your day.

What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and while Taylor’s entire music video is star studded, in my humble opinion, one of the best parts is the incredible drag queen pageant where RuPaul’s Drag Race alums dressed like today’s biggest pop stars.

And according to Taylor, it seems like this day onset was even more perfect than it looked in the video.

We see everyone getting ready, posing for photos with each other, and just overall having the time of their lives!

So many of the drag queens posted on their own social media accounts over this past week saying how grateful they are for the experience.

Riley Knoxx, who played Beyoncé, posted this photo of herself and T Swift writing quote, “I want to say thank you to this beautiful soul not only for casting me in her video and hand-picking me, but also for taking the time to research and learn about my story! […] I was so excited when I first learned that I would be in your video but even more excited when I made a new friend.”
OHHhh this just gives me all the feels.
And fans on Twitter are freaking out over these sweet moments.

One person said quote, “A moment of appreciation for all the beautiful QUEENS in the video!! #BehindYNTCD”

And another person highlighted a special moment that nodded to Taylor and Katy Perry’s reconciled friendship saying quote, “My fave part is her looking at “Katy Perry’s” outfit saying “She’s gonna lose her shit it looks so good”! With that amount of genuine excitement and enthusiasm. I’ll never get tired of her genuine reactions! @taylornation13 @taylorswift13 #BehindYNTCD”

Ugh I am so here for these two being friends again I haven’t stopped smiling all week.

But the sweetest part of the behind the scenes video was her cute little “proposal” to Todrick Hall.

Taylor and Todrick have been long time friends and they have worked together in the past but as Taylor noted in this video, he never asks for credit. So she decided to do something special for him.

She said quote, “He’s one of those people who’s very generous with his effort and time but would never ask for credit when he deserves it. So, he has put so much into this video, whether it was casting or ideas or fashion […] so I’m going to ask him to be co-executive producer of the video in this card.”

And then we got to see the adorable moment of him accepting the offer.

Taylor also ended the behind the scenes video the same way she ended the actual music video, with a call to action to sign her petition for senate support of the Equality Act on Change.org.

So regardless of how you feel about the music video, Taylor is doing her best to make a difference.

Alright guys, now I want to hear from you.
Did you love this behind the scenes video? And what other moments from the making of her music video do you want to see? Maybe some interaction between her and Katy Perry?!?!
