Texas Sen. Ted Cruz warned that a “massive” impending “invasion at our southern border” will bring “tragedy,” “suffering” and death — directly addressing the president to say: “Joe Biden, this is your fault.“
“We’re seeing an invasion at our southern border,” the leading Republican said in videos from the border in Brownsville, Texas.
“And there are, right now, over 22,000 illegal immigrants right across the river,” he said, pointing to lights across the Rio Grande.
“They’re waiting. They’re waiting for Title 42 to expire, and then the invasion we’re going to see is going to be massive,” he said of the pandemic-era right to boot certain migrants, which ended at midnight.
“We already have the worst illegal immigration in the history of our country. And in just a few hours it’s getting worse,” he said.
