Sherman Bynum Jr. and his best friend Sam Tetro raised $1,000 to rent an M4 Sherman tank to take to prom.

Two creative West Coast teens made an impressive entrance over the weekend when they rolled up their high school prom in a a M3A1 Stuart tank they reportedly rented for $1,000. Best friends Sherman Bynum and Sam Tetro told local media outlets they raised the money through TikTok and a GoFundMe account for the event at Camas High School in Washington near the Oregon border.
“We don’t like normal very much,” Bynum told WJHG Monday. “I think the quote that we’ve been repeating a lot today is, today’s the day, man. And we’re feeling really good.”
