Dave Roper now has a new level of respect for mums everywhere after his fifteen minute labour preview on August 28th, 2020.
The 36 year old Financial Analyst from Dunfermline Scotland has been running miles and doing a series of Facebook Live video challenges to raise money for various organisations throughout lockdown.
Roper said that these challenges have included live videos of “nose wax kits, cinnamon challenge, One chip challenge, speak out eating challenge and most recently the “labour simulator”’.
He has also been fundraising for the last six months by running daily as “Duloch Spider-Man” and has built up a team of superheroes who have been running and walking throughout lockdown and spreading a little bit of happiness.
Roper has raised £14,000 for his son’s special needs school, £4,600 for Edinburgh Sick Kids and Glasgow Children’s hospital and has helped a team of other superheroes raise over £11,000 for Edinburgh Sick Kids.
