Donald Trump has been found not guilty in his impeachment trial.
The former US President has been acquitted of inciting a mob of his supporters to attack the US Capitol.
The final vote came in as 57 ‘guilty’ and 43 ‘not guilty’ which meant the Democrats did not reach the two-thirds majority they needed to secure a conviction.
Donald Trump was defiant after the acquittal and released a statement saying ‘he had much to share’ over coming months.
