The plot thickens in the Tanner Mongeau & Brad Sousa break up, with Tanner and Twitter fans SLAMMING Brad for his latest video apology.
What’s up Guys, its Sussan Mourad here back for Clevver News, and if you’ve been following the recent documented break up of Tanner Mongeau and Brad Sousa, and thought that you’d heard the last word on the end of this relationship, think again.
So earlier this week, we reported on Tanner’s break-up with Brad and broke down the video she posted explaining what happened.
Now, Brad has released his own video explaining his side of the story and essentially making an ‘apology.’
Or is it? Because let’s just say Tanner isn’t buying it … and neither is the ENTIRE internet.
So in his 5 minute plus video, Brad goes on to say that he’s “sorry” and that everyday he wishes that he can take back everything he did. He calls Tana “perfect” and confesses his love for her, calling her “one of a kind”.
Brad continues to pour his heart out calling her his ”world”…
OK Brad, but what about the cheating accusations, what is the moral of THAT story?
Brad went on to say that while Tanner’s story was a little “exaggerated”, he never physically touched another girl while they were together, but that HE DID cheat on her by replying to Snapchat nudes from “girls back home”
In case you’re confused, Snapchat nudes are filed under cheating
And as we would only hope, Tanner had something to say. The soon-to-be MTV reality star, took to Twitter writing, “What a piece of shit video. Filled with lies.” with a crying laugh emoji
And by lies and this tweet, we can only assume that Tanner is referring to Brad’s explanation of the cheating allegations surrounding their split.
Twitter users were also there for this tea, ready to SLAM Brad and his ‘so called’ apology.
Starting with Tanner’s rumoured rebound Jake Paul who retweeted Brad’s “I’m Sorry” apology video, with his short and sweet response, “I’m not.”

Another Twitter user Victoria wrote, “Brad Sousa really out here like tAnA iS tHe LoVe Of mY LiFe- lol bullshit you don’t do that to the love of ur life but go off sis xo”
Hillary tweeted this picture of clown shoes with the caption, “brad sousa getting ready to make his apology video”
As well as this tweet from Carls Barkley that said what we were all thinking:
“brad sousa: i didn’t cheat on tana! i just got drunk and replied to girls sending me nudes!!
brad sousa, 2 minutes later: yeah me responding to those messages is cheating don’t do that”
And Brad himself also chimed in on Twitter responding to a Tanner fan tweeting:
“NO FUCKING SHIT I FUCKED UP AND I ADMITTED IT WHAT MORE DO YOU ASSHOLES WANT ME TO DO?! FUCK YOU”
Gee Brad, those all caps sound like this apology might not have gone the way you expected…
So while Brad’s apology is seemingly sincere in many respects, Twitter fans as well as Tanner have slammed Brad for the apparent “lies” as well as contradictions in his video when confessing his love for Tanner, but then cheating on her.
BUT one other thing that we couldn’t help but notice over here at Clevver, is the timing of Brads apology. Earlier this week Tanner shared news that she will be starring in her very own MTV reality series called MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21 which will follow the social star and her crazy crew as they navigate vlog life, studio time, partying and finally becoming adults.
So I mean, we’re just putting it out there, that maybe Brad hopes to feature as a storyline in the new show…make some dollars off this?
