The UK’s National Air Traffic Services (NATS) has “identified and remedied” the technical issue affecting its flight planning system.
“We are now working closely with airlines and airports to manage the flights affected as efficiently as possible,” it said in a statement.
Passengers have been told to expect delays of up to 12 hours after air traffic controllers across the UK experienced a technical fault.
