This is the adorable moment a sloth waves back to a good samaritan who helped him into the forest after crossing a road.
The footage, captured in January in the province of Limon in Costa Rica, shows a group of people watching the sloth slowly crossing a road.
Once on the roadside, the sloth tries to enter the forest by climbing up a bank. However, the bank is too high.
After seeing the animal struggling, a man decides to give it a helping hand. He grabs the sloth and puts him on top of the back so the animal can continue on into the forest.
The man then says goodbye to the sloth by waving his hand. Amazingly, the sloth waves back.
