Dwayne Johnson is trying to make up for his ghosts of Christmas past. The Rock, 50, returned to his hometown 7-Eleven to buy all the Snickers bars on the shelves to make up for stealing one “every day” when he was a 14-year-old.
“I have been waiting decades to do what I’m getting ready to do now,” he says in a video posted to Instagram Sunday. As the “Black Adam” actor approaches the Hawaii 7-Eleven, he explains how he used to stop at the convenience store daily to steal king-sized Snickers bars as his “pre-workout food.”
“I did that for almost a year every day,” he says. “I had to come back and buy every Snickers bar on those shelves.”
