Destructive winds tore a section of roof from a building in Guntersville, Alabama, as multiple severe storms moved through northern Alabama on Tuesday, July 18.
Footage shows people running from the City Harbor Suites as parts of the roof are dislodged and land on the sidewalk.
The National Weather Service released radar imagery of the storms, which brought damaging winds and heavy rainfall to the region on Tuesday evening.
