US President Joe Biden says American service members who were killed in the attacks outside Kabul airport are “heroes”.
Appearing crestfallen in his first public speech since the terror attack, Mr Biden also turned his attention to the perpetrators of the attack, telling them: “We will not forgive, we will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay.”
He confirmed he is looking at additional plans to strike ISIS-K assets and facilities in retaliation.
