The 'Superbubble': N44 is a complex nebula filled with glowing hydrogen gas, dark lanes of dust, and massive stars. But, its most distinctive feature is the dark, starry gap called a “superbubble,” visible in this Hubble Space Telescope image.

Star jets: This striking image features a relatively rare celestial phenomenon known as a Herbig-Haro object. This particular object, named HH111, was imaged by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope’s Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3).

Star factory: NASA's Hubble Space Telescope captured G035.20-0.74, a star-forming nebula in the constellation Aquila, the Eagle, known for producing a particular kind of massive star known as a B-Type star, which are hot, young, blue stars up to five times hotter than our Sun.

The evolving universe: Astronomers using Hubble assembled the most comprehensive picture of the evolving universe. Tiny red dots — early, shapeless galaxy building blocks whose light has been stretched by the expanding universe into an infrared glow — litter the most distant parts of the visible universe.

Prawn nebula: A massive stellar nursery located in the constellation Scorpius, about 6,000 light years from Earth. the prawn nebula stretches 250 light-years and covers a space four times the size of the full moon.
