Saturn is the second-largest planet in our solar system after Jupiter. It has a diameter of about 120,500 kms.

The planet is known for its stunning ring system, made mostly of ice particles, rocks, and dust.

Saturn has no solid surface and is a gas giant composed mostly of hydrogen and helium.

Saturn has 145 confirmed moons, with Titan being the largest.

The giant planet experiences powerful storms and extremely fast winds, reaching speeds up to 1,800 km/h.

The image, which was taken on May 23 2005, features small particles in Saturn rings.

The image showcases northern hemisphere of Saturn. It was taken on December 20, 1999.
