A tornado is whipping through the air and then decides to take a dip in a body of water teeming with sharks. Now that’s a mashup you won’t find in any oceanography textbook. Sharks are the apex predators of the sea, masters of their underwater domain. But when they meet a tornado, it’s like their entire world is turned upside down (literally). Tornadoes are powerful and chaotic, and if they dare to descend into shark-infested waters, those sleek swimmers might just swim for their lives. Imagine the tornado’s massive winds churning the water, causing turbulence that sharks aren’t used to dealing with.
