Asian giant hornets are about the size of an adult’s thumb, almost three times the size of a normal bee. Their equally giant stinger can pierce even a beekeeping suit! Those who’ve survived being stung compare it to a red-hot needle.
The stinger pierces the skin and injects venom. Once it enters the body, the vessels around the sting dilate. The area becomes red and swollen. Now just imagine what 100 of these giant hornets could do to a person! Well, here’s a crazy hypothetical at what that might look like! ?
