What would green trade look like?

As the UK aims to going net-zero, the trade minister Liz Truss looks at the proposal of green taxes and tariffs on trade.

One of the ideas often mentioned to slow global warming is a carbon border adjustment – essentially taxing imported goods that have a high climate impact.

And it could be a step closer to being introduced in the UK, as our economics and data editor Ed Conway explains.
