White House says to expect another Kabul attack | New York Post

President Biden was warned that another terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, is “likely” as the US military draws up plans to retaliate against ISIS-K for the slaughter of 13 service members at the city’s airport, the White House said Friday.

Press secretary Jen Psaki offered no additional details on the potential threats discussed during a Situation Room meeting between Biden and his national security team, but said commanders were “taking maximum force protection measures at the Kabul Airport.”

In a prepared statement posted on the White House website, Psaki said the evacuation efforts there were entering “the most dangerous period to date.”
