This was the incredible moment Lucy the goose took her first flight again after being nursed back to health in Tennessee.
The clip filmed on November 21 shows the moment Wendy Lee wildly encourages her goose Lucy to flap her wings again after weeks of rehabilitation.
Wendy proceeds to flap her arms up and down while shouting “you can do it, Lucy!” before the goose finally flies over to her.
Wendy told Newsflare: “Lucy is a domesticated cross breed goose that was brought to me for rehabilitation. It is my understanding that she was kept enclosed without the freedom to swim and learn how to fly.
“So I am rehabilitating her and teaching her how to become a goose so she can live and enjoy the rest of her days with me and my sanctuary.”
