This was the amazing moment Linda Johnson, who was born completely deaf, hears her family’s voices for the first time.
The clip, filmed in September 2019 shows the moment Linda gets her hearing aids fitted and starts talking to the nurse and her family.
“It’s very strange! It’s echo-y but it’s good!” Linda can be heard saying in the video.
After being asked by the nurse whether she can hear her when looking away Linda replies: “Oh that’s wonderful!”
