While Zendaya is having the summer of her life with Euphoria being the only show anyone is talking about, her old clothing line might be coming back to haunt her.

What’s up? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and in case you forgot, Zendaya had a clothing line called Daya by Zendaya that kinda sorta crumbled a little while back.

Last year she cut ties with the company that was running her clothing line after it had some major issues.

In January of 2018 she tweeted quote, “I take these matters very seriously and value my fans who have supported DxZ. I am no longer affiliated with the company that was operating DxZ but I will personally ensure that each and every outstanding order and issue is resolved. I apologize for any frustration that my fans have experienced and promise that my team and I will be sorting this all out in the coming days.”

But unfortunately that tweet didn’t solve all the problems.

News just broke that Daya by Zendaya is actually at the center of a current lawsuit.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a company called Red Light PR claims that they were hired back in September of 2016 to do public relations work for the Daya by Zendaya clothing line.

They were supposed to be paid $6,000 per month for their services which reportedly included assisting with advertising, celebrity gifting, influencer seeding, event planning, brand development consulting, and digital strategy.

But the PR company claims IconMod, the brand that Zendaya had partnered with on her clothing line, breached the deal and they owe them $64,696.71.

Yikes.

Thought Zendaya is not a named defendant in the lawsuit, her brand is definitely caught up in all of this.

But if it were up to fans, the brand would have a comeback… this time probably just under Zendaya alone though, not with that company that owes all that money.

One person tweeted quote, “@dayabyzendaya we miss you”

And another said quote, “daya by zendaya was a masterpiece”

So maybe after all the dust is settled with this lawsuit, the clothing line could make a come back?

We’ll just have to wait and see.

For now we’ll just be over here re-watching Euphoria for the rest of the summer.

But I want to hear from you guys.

Did you buy anything from Zendaya’s clothing line? And would you want it to make a come back?

Let me know down in the comments.
