2027 Audi Q7 – PRODUCTION

2027 Audi Q7-Production in Bratislava

Overview
The third-generation Audi Q7 launches with a focus on versatility, spaciousness, and performance, continuing over 20 years of Q7 heritage. It is built in Bratislava and can be ordered in Germany from June 2026, with deliveries starting in September. Prices start at 87,900 euros for the 180 kW version and 90,500 euros for the 220 kW version.

Interior and Seating

The Q7 offers five, six, or seven-seat configurations, all electrically adjustable. The six-seat option adds two individual second-row seats for a business-class feel. Trunk capacity reaches up to 806 liters in the five-seater (2,075 liters with seats folded) and up to 722 liters in the seven-seater. The new center console includes wireless Qi2.2 charging for two phones and large cup holders. A range of new color and material combinations, including alpaca fiber and leather options, are available.

Panoramic Sunroof

A newly developed, slimmer roof mechanism increases headroom while enabling an optional illuminated panoramic sunroof with switchable transparency across nine segments. The roof automatically turns opaque when parked and uses coated laminated glass that blocks over 99.5 percent of UV radiation.

Sound and Infotainment

An updated Bang & Olufsen 4D sound system with 22 speakers and seat actuators delivers a more physical audio experience. The curved Audi MMI panoramic display, an Application Store with app access without a smartphone, and a self-learning Audi assistant (which defers to ChatGPT for general questions) round out the tech features.

Exterior Design and Lighting

The exterior features a muscular silhouette, a larger Singleframe grille, and an upright D-pillar for added headroom. Lighting technology includes digital Matrix LED headlights with micro-LED modules and third-generation digital OLED rear lights. A world-first advanced turn signal projects onto the road at night, and new door projection lighting welcomes passengers.

Powertrain

The Q7 launches with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine in two outputs: 220 kW (299 PS, 630 Nm) or 180 kW (245 PS, 500 Nm). Both use MHEV plus mild-hybrid technology with an electric powertrain generator (up to 18 kW additional output) and an electric-powered compressor for quick throttle response. Permanent quattro all-wheel drive with a new limited-slip center differential is standard, paired with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. The vehicle can also run on HVO fuel.

Handling and Driver Assistance

Three suspension options are available: standard steel springs, adaptive air suspension, and a sportier air suspension that lowers the vehicle by 30mm. Driver assistance features include adaptive driving assistant plus, trained parking (remembering up to five maneuvers), a new reverse assist, and an emergency assist function that can steer the car to the shoulder if the driver becomes unresponsive.
