Matt Hancock “lost moral authority” and public trust and has “done the right thing” by resigning, according to Professor Linda Bauld of the University of Edinburgh.
Prof Bauld added: “I think the problem in the behavioural messaging is: we can’t have one rule for them and another for us.”
