The Pharaohs’ Curse might sound like something from an old horror movie, but some weird things have actually happened to those who disturbed ancient tombs. When King Tut’s tomb was opened in 1922, several people involved mysteriously died soon after, leading many to believe in the curse. Scientists later suggested bacteria or mold in the sealed tombs could have made them sick, but the eerie coincidences still fuel the legend. Other myths, like lost cities hidden in the jungle or giant sea creatures, have also turned out to have some truth behind them. Explorers have discovered real sunken cities, and scientists are still finding new deep-sea monsters that look straight out of folklore. So maybe some of those old myths weren’t just stories after all!
