The Toxic Avenger, the cult-classic superhero, is taking on a real-life villain: medical debt.
Cineverse has partnered with the nonprofit Undue Medical Debt to erase at least $5 million in unpaid bills for families least able to pay, with a pledge to cancel an additional $1 million for every $1 million the film earns at the box office.
