VIDEO: Different text input functions in your BMW explained In your BMW equipped with the new OS 7.0 infotainment control system, you can choose between various methods of text input when searching for a desired driver profile or contact. You have a multitude of text input methods at your discretion. For example, you can use the iDrive controller. Tilt it down and you will switch between upper case and lower case letter. You can move through the letter by simply rotating the controller and pressing it to confirm the desired letter.
