Climate Crisis: Swollen rivers swallow homes in Bangladesh

Sky’s Katerina Vittozzi visits a small village in Bangladesh where the weather has caused the river to swell so high the few homes left are islands.

It’s one of the world’s most densely-populated countries, with people living along a delta of rivers that empty into the Bay of Bengal.

Two-thirds of the country is less than 5 metres above sea level, and Climate Change is threatening the lives and livelihoods of those on the country’s coast.
