The President of a US company producing a coronavirus vaccine proven to be 94.5% effective has told Sky News he’s confident it will protect those most at-risk from COVID-19.
Stephen Hoge from Moderna, based in Massachusetts, told Sky News said he’d been in an on-going conversation with the UK government – and Health Secretary Matt Hancock has now confirmed five million doses of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine has been ordered, enough for 2.5 million people.
