Sir Keir Starmer has proposed a new contract with the British public to help combat the rising cost of living and cement the Labour Party’s vision for the future based on ‘security, prosperity and respect’.
The proposed contract calls for the removal of VAT on all heating bills over winter and ‘good sick pay’.
The Labour leader criticised the Government’s handling of rising energy costs, keeping streets safe and the handling of the pandemic.
