The UK's chief medical officers have revealed that the country's COVID-19 alert level has been downgraded, with the threat of the NHS being overwhelmed receding.
However, they warned against complacency, stating that transmission rates, hospital pressures and deaths are "very high".
Moving from level five to four means that transmission is now "high or rising exponentially".

Tiger Woods suffered "multiple open fractures" to his right leg in a serious car crash in Los Angeles.
The 15-time major champion's is "awake, responsive and recovering in his hospital room", according to a statement on his Twitter page.
Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Mr Woods' car was travelling at a "relatively greater speed than normal" descending down a hill in an area notorious for a "high frequency of accidents".
