The leader of the Labour party, Sir Keir Starmer told Kay Burley that it was “always the right time to change the party for the better” in a wide ranging interview on Sky News Breakfast.
He said that the party was a “broad church” and that they now had a “credible programme” which gave people “something to unite behind”. And he told Kay that he now wanted to “focus on voters who didn’t vote for us last time”.
