If you look up into the sky, you can’t see the Earth’s Magnetic field because it is invisible to human eyes. But it’s there and just because we can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not important. It protects the planet from harmful blasts of solar radiation and cosmic rays. But the magnetic field has been doing some very strange things lately that have taken scientists’ by surprise… It’s moving almost 4 times as fast as normal towards Siberia, and researchers are scrambling to understand why.
